Yep, O Benevolent and Protective Wingleader, but I don't mind seeing again. Thanks--I was beginning to think I had somehow blocked everyone from commenting!

Love the banner.

Let's see, Lennon I don't really remember. Never been a Beatles fan, I'm still not, and I remember that what I did know about Lennon made me not give a crap about him anyway. If I had know the words I do today I would have probably labeled him a 'Libtard'

Regan - I got home from school (I was a sophmore) and remember walking through the door and it was on TV. Always loved Regan.

Challenger - I was in Weapons Control training and out instructor pulled a TV into the classroom so we could watch the shuttle launch. We were dead silent when the explosion happened, all of us knew even before they announced it that the crew was gone. Class was canceled and we went to the E-club and raised a glass to the crew.

9/11 - I was in drawing class and NPR was on the radio. I was across the room but since I have hearing like a bat I caught the announcer come on and could tell something was wrong so I called over to have it turned up.

As soon as he said a plane had hit the trade center everyone started wondering how an accident like that could happen but I knew it wasn't an accident. When they announced the second plane had hit I packed up my kit and headed for the door, I knew classes would be shut down and so I just headed home. I seriously considered dropping out of art school and re-upping in the Navy that day.

Columbia - I saw it on the news that night when I got home from class. I don't really remember much because I was in the middle of some homework or another when it came on the TV. I stopped what I was doing and just stared.
